Staggering from the startling demise of her significant other, Beth (Rebecca Hall) is left alone in the lakeside home he worked for her. She attempts overall quite well to keep it together—however at that point the fantasies come. Upsetting dreams of a presence in the house call to her, coaxing with a spooky appeal, yet the unforgiving light of day washes away any confirmation of a frequenting. Against the counsel of her companions, she starts delving into his effects, longing for answers. What she finds are privileged insights both odd and horrendous and a secret still up in the air to determine.
